Make Money on Ebay

There is thousands and millions of money over the Internet. It is just a matter how we can earn it. There are number of ways to earn money online, some of which i have earlier discussed in my previous articles. Today I'm going to discuss how one can earn thousands of money per month online on eBay.

On E bay there is a lot of money to be made as a seller. Thousands of sellers are earning thousands of money daily on eBay and still there is always a space for you.

If you are really interested in making some good amount of money online and you do have a keen interest in buying and selling online then eBay is simply a right place for you to try out and make your earning. You can earn some part time cash as well as can set up a whole new business on eBay. It is up to you what do you want.

This thing everyone knows that eBay is everything about buying and selling. But the main thing of concern is from where you will get your stock to sell on eBay? How can you build your own business? How you will get Power Seller status?

In order to use eBay you should first of all sign up for your free account. Now as you are new to eBay, for starting purpose you can auction some of your personnel things that are no longer usable to you.

I'm saying so because once you will have an idea how eBay works and how you can easily make money online through eBay then you can purchase your own stock from outside and then can auction each product on eBay. 

So, for freshers it is a good advice to auction there personnel items first of all like mobile phones, any electronic gadget, your laptop, any book etc. You can sell anything on eBay. Take some good photographs of your product and decide the bidding price.

Now think for an attractive and good title of the product and now you can put all these things together and sell your product on eBay. Now before getting your stock you should be clear what kind of business you are going to set up. Every businessman is known for a particular range of products say like for toys, for garments, books, accessories, stationary etc.

So, your business idea must also be very clear otherwise your shop will become a great confusion for the people. Focus on what you want to sell. Not only this do use eBay advanced search features to get to know what is selling most. You need to pick the mos popular product to get the best hit.

Lets say you want to sell books. You are selling a programming book of .net or java and people are looking more for Linux programming book then your entire stock of .net and java books will get dump and you have to face a huge loss.

So, in order to get a right stock of right products range you have to do a little homework looking for what is selling most. Use amazon, abebooks.com, forums etc. to know what is most demanded.

Once you take a decision what you want to sell now the question arises from where will you get your stock. No one is going to tell this to you as this is the key to success in this business. You have to do some legwork to find out best dealer for you. The more cheaper you buy the more profit you can earn. The key to this buying and selling business is buy low and sell high to maximize your profit.

When the talk comes upon from where you can get your stock then, there are two main sources from where you can get it easily.

  • DropShippers 
  • Wholesalers

Buying stock from wholesalers involve greater risk as compared to buying stock from drop-shippers.

If you buy your entire stock from wholesalers then you have to take holding of your entire stock and have to pay the entire money before you sell anything. Now in case what you purchased was no longer in demand then your entire stock will be a dead stock and you have to face huge loss. 

But in case you get your stock from drop-shippers than you don't need to pay any money before you sell the actual product. Drop-shippers hold the entire stock for you, so actually need to pay only when you have sold an item and you have received your payment from the customer.

Though you have to pay some initial amount to become a member of the scheme. But in this minimum risk is involved. But there will be no stock that will go dead. in wholesalers you will need to have the room to buy the new stock every time, and the money to buy it in advance.

Yet another method is to search on Google what do you want. It could be a hit or miss, but it's possible for you to find some excellent wholesalers through this method. If you are serious eBay seller than you will achieve easily the Power Seller symbol. There are actually five levels to strive for. The first one you can attain within no time. As you reach each levels you will realize that your sales has gradually increased and so your product range.

Many sellers have their own shop on eBay, but it's not necessary when you get started. In fact its better to wait until you have a wide range of products to sell and a handful customers to buy your product range. It would rather look very strange if you have only handful of items in your shop.

Some tips to sell more products on eBay and earn more money are:-
  • Provide free shipping and delivery confirmation. Although you can charge for these, but free shipping builds goodwill and delivery confirmation gives you peace of mind.
  • Offer insurance on expensive products.
  • Offer money back guarantee if the item is not described.
  • Craft your auction title very carefully. It should be attractive and very good. It should not be too lengthy. Use some keywords that are searched most to describe your product.
  • Write a good description listing the strengths and flaws of your item. Be truthful in this but little bit clever.
  • Take photos and post them in the description. If condition is a concern, use many photos to convey the state of the item.
  • Answer the questions that you receive about your items. If it’s a question that many people are likely to have, post the your response publicly.
  • A friendly, easy-going person is going to receive better response than a business-like person.

    Again, sell products of little higher range like of 100$ to 200$ or higher as there is always more profit margin in expensive products. Say you are selling products of 5$ to 20$ and on contrary someone is selling products of range 50$ to 100$ then obviously latter will earn higher profit margin than you.

    Remember that it can take time to build a successful business but its not impossible.
