Though this structure is not considered very sane, but we have a large number of organizations which are actively involved in that. One of the most common example for the same is Amway.

There is always the lure of making large profits, if you are able to recruit large number of salespersons under you, thereby snatching a share from each sale generated by each salesperson.

I had myself been asked by many of my friends and even strangers to join as a sales group member under them. Though now many stock brokers have also sought membership with NCDEX and MCX hence now they can also help to trade in commodities. Besides you will need to give your details such as PAN no., bank account no, etc.

Some brokers who are both stock and commodity brokers include sharekhan, ICICIdirect, ISJ Securities, Sunidhi Consultancy etc. Commodity trading can also be done directly through Internet just as like equity trading. You can get a list of more members from the respective exchanges and decide upon the broker you want to choose from.

As I told you earlier also, that commodity trading is done in future just like future trading in equity market. The major difference in these two is that the information availability of supply and demand is not as robust and controlled as of equity market.

Like any market the demand-supply equation influences the price. Same applies to commodity market. It is also driven by the same supply and demand cycle.

The main difference between the commodity market and the stock market is based on the type of product traded. Commodity trading is done in two ways:-

Directional Trading

Agricultural production is highly unpredictable and seasonal. During harvesting season supply goes up hence prices of commodities comes down. There are traders who use to trade using these patterns in the commodity market. Such trading is termed as Directional trading.

Day Trading

What is Sensex And Nifty?

Till now we have discussed what are stocks and why do companies issue stock. Another two most important terms related to stock market are "Sensex" and "Nifty". Sensex is an indicator of all the major companies of the BSE and Nifty is the indicator of all the major companies of NSE. When ever a company declares itself as "Pvt Ltd. " it is basically eligible to be mentioned in stock market. The owner of the company has to register it in either BSE or NSE. 

Once the company is registered in any of these two, it means anytime company can float its share in the market when needed.

If Sensex goes up it means most of the major companies of BSE have gone up and if it goes down it means most of the major companies of Sensex have gone down. Similarly it applies to Nifty also. Both Sensex and Nifty indicates whether there major stock rates have increased or decreased.

There is another index that is also very important to know while you talk about stock market and that is BSE mid-cap index. BSE mid-cap index was introduced by BSE to track the performance of the companies with relatively smaller market capitalization.

What is Click Fraud?

If you are interested in joining any Adwords program to increase your sites popularity and traffic to your site, then for sure you should also know about Click Fraud. What Click Fraud is? Click Fraud is basically a type of Internet crime that occurs in such online Pay per Click advertising program.

Also known as click spam, click fraud involves a false inflation of the number of clicks on an ad. Fraudulent click is a click in which the viewer doesn't have any interest in ads content, he is simply interested in causing a charge to the advertiser.

Other times, purpose can be far more malicious. In above case the intention is simple, to help one's friend to earn some money through Google Adsense. But when this crime happens in terms of Adwords then it is very dangerous. In this case, generally the Competitors do so. They do so in order to drain out the rival's budgets by continuously clicking their ads.

Till now we know that each advertiser have to pay some amount to Google when ever their ad is clicked on the search result page. So, what competitors does, without having any interest in ad they simply keep on clicking the ad so that the advertiser is charged again and again. 

Another damage that it does to advertiser is that, google displays a particular ad only till then, until some particular number of clicks are not made on that ad. When that threshold is met then that ad is not displayed on that day. In this way competitors make their ads to be get displayed for a longer period of time.

Another way could be that a competitor publisher may be doing these fraud clicks. His intention in this case could be to frame the webmaster publishing the pay per clicks ad so that the advertiser pull their ads and the related revenue from the site because they think that they have been defrauded by the webmaster.

Till now there is not any proper rule to stop these fraudulent clicks still Google Adwords has processes in place that weigh click activity with known fraudulent clicking behavior so as to minimize the risk of click fraud and to protect you to their best.

How To Design Adwords

Once you have set up and activated your Adwords account and your billing information is entered, your ads will go on air within minutes and will be displayed in front of 1000's of potential customers. You should always take care of these restrictions while designing your ads, otherwise your Google Adwords account can even be disabled forever if you are found violating its rules (This thing applies for some rules not for all. It will be clear to you as you read this article). Some of its rules are:-

1) You should always use standard punctuation in your ads.
2) Not allowed to use exclamations in your title, nor allowed to repeat unnecessary punctuation's.
3) Can use just one single exclamation mark in your entire ad. So be sure which is the most attractive part of your ad that you would like to emphasize on.
4) Not allowed to use all capital letters in your words to emphasize on your ad such as EXCITING OFFER, FREE, BUY NOW etc. However, you can use all capital letters if your ad includes acronyms such as CPM, CPC etc.
5) You also need to use proper grammar, spelling and eliminate repetition.

These above guidelines basically emphasize on standard formatting of the ads. Now apart from formatting ads should be well concise also. For this its a rule that your title should not contain more than 25characters and you ad body should not exceed more than two lines and each line can contain at most 35characters and at last your URL. These restrictions are to maximize the effectiveness of the ad space used.


As Google always wants to maintain the quality of advertisements that it distributes, they do follow few restrictions on what type of ad they will display and also the wording used in ads. There are few features that Adwords do not accept:

1) Ads that promote some kind of weapons or drugs.
2) Ads that promote violence.
3) Ads that promote alcohol use.
4) Ads that promote illegal devices or any such substance.
5) Ads that promote fireworks or explosives.
6) Ads that promote non-family entertaining materials like adult sites or movies.
7) Ads that promote miracle cures.

Along with these restrictions you should also take care that re-routing links are not permitted nor any sort of pop ups are allowed to use. Adwords expects you to be able to support your claims about your service and products.

Now with respect to URL link Adwords require that your link is accurate and it works. Your site must have a working back button so that the viewer can easily reach back to the search result page or that network page from where he has arrived.

Make sure that you fulfill all of the above requirements as Adwords check out all these things before you are accepted in this program.

One very important tip to attract the viewer's towards your site is:

"Search for the best performing keyword in your ad group and try to include it in your ad text, especially in the title. When a user searches with that keyword your ad will appear and that keyword phrase will appear in bold font within your ad on Google."

Why do Companies Issue Stock And How?

We know that holding stock of any company means having an ownership in that company and its assets. The more stock you have, the more power, right of authority and ownership you will have in that company.

Now the biggest question arises why any one will give you the ownership within its company, share his assets and profit with you? The answer to this question is very simple. Any companies growth is directly related with its capital and the profit that it is making per year.

To increase profit everyone needs to expand his business. And to expand the business one needs more money. Companies can raise money in two ways:- one is taking loan from the bank or issue bonds and second is raise money from the public that is by issuing stocks.

The first method of raising money is known as "debt financing" where as second one is known as "equity financing". Issuing stock is the advantageous way to the companies to raise money as they don't need to pay back the money or interest payments to anyone.

This is the reason why the companies issue stocks and how does stocks come into the market. All that shareholder get in return is the hope that some day share rate will increase and they will be worth more of what they paid to buy them.

When first time any company issue stocks or float its stock in the market then it is known as Initial public offering(IPO).

The company can also raise funds through issuing bonds. Bonds are also there in the market that you can buy. But it comes under "debt financing". Companies rarely issue bonds as they cost more to the company. If you are holding the bond of a particular company then there is surity that you will get back your money with interest payments as promised.

But is case of stocks there is no surity that you will get your money back. I mean to say that, in case company goes bankrupt due to any reason then the value of its stock also goes to zero means the stock that you are holding also has no price.

But if you invest your money in some good stocks after through study then stocks can give better return as compared to bonds. Bonds give you fixed return that is the amount that you invested in buying it plus interest rate. But in case of stock returns are not fixed.

Suppose you have purchased 50 stocks of a certain company at 100rs each and after few days it becomes 200Rs each then you earn 100rs more per share. Means your profit is straight away around Rs. 5000 plus the amount you invested in it.

When one buys a particular share on lower price and sells it on higher price then, he earns his profit or when sells higher and buys on lower price. Both way its possible. You can buy also and then sell or sell first then buy at lower rate. Its purely your choice what you want to do.

As i said share is nothing but your ownership in the company's asset. So, you do have share in the companies assets. Sometimes company does distributes its share of profit among its share holders in the form dividends. But its not necessary. Company distributes dividends yearly or half yearly.

Owing a stock doesn't mean that you have the power of making decision in the company. It just mean that if a company earns profit and as a result its stock prices go high then your stock price will also raise and you will get your part of profit on selling that stock.

By having ownership it doesn't mean that in case company goes bankrupt you will loose your personnel asset. At most you can lose that much amount that you have invested in buying the stocks of that company that you are holding.
